28" PORCELAIN FAYZAH SPANOS DOLL "THEODORE" PORTRAIT OF HER SON 34 OF ONLY 50 PCS!
Up for sale is a 28" porcelain Fayzah Spanos doll, "Theodore". He is a portrait piece, modeled after her son. This porcelain Theodore is a rare piece, and is numbered 34 out of only 50 made! He is adorable! He is in nice, clean condition, but has been on display previously. There is a mark on the back of one sock, and a couple of small holes on the back of the other. Please see photos. The eyes are gorgeous, as is his tussled hair. I probably do not have his black scarf on correctly. The instrument is a bouzouki, hand made in Greece by Hermes Heller. The boy's body is stuffed. The head, and lower extremities are porcelain. He can sit or stand, but I could not get his arms to stay up in a pose.
The body is cloth with the head and lower extremities being porcelain.
The original box is included, but I do not have a certificate. The stand is included.
