RARE  ARTIST   'JUMEAU'  REPRODUCTION  BISQUE  DOLL

This is a wonderful artist reproduction doll.
In fact, this is the first I have seen of this 'Jumeau' reproduction mold made by this artist.  She is 16 inches tall.  She is marked on the back of her head: "Cwlarmaid 1961".  She was made by Clara Ware in 1961.  Clara was a doll artist and she worked for Emma Clear while Emma owned the 'Humpty Dumpty Doll Hospital'.  She wears a lace trimmed green print jacket & dress; an under vest; lace trimmed pantaloons; lace trimmed underskirt; mesh stockings and leather shoes; and a floral hat.  She is missing one earring.  She has what appears to be her original human hair wig.  She has a leather "French" style body.  She has a bisque shoulder plate while her head swivels.  She has a outstanding French look with blue glass eyes and French style wide eye cuts.  Her facial painting is gorgeous.  This is a splendid example bisque doll from this artist.  If you are a French Fashion doll collector - this doll will fit in wonderfully with your other dolls.  Or if you are a Emma Clear collector - this doll is an extension of the history of the Humpty Dumpty Doll Hospital.  From my home to yours.
